It all Started with a Simple Message

Ben sent a simple message commenting “cute” on a picture of me in my yellow floral sundress. I felt God nudging me to respond and match with him — and I’m so thankful I did.

We instantly clicked. He began sending “good morning” texts every single day and thoughtfully planned our first date the very next weekend at EastWest. We talked for hours over dinner, completely losing track of time. Not ready for the night to end, we continued our date until 2 a.m. at House of Found Objects, playing card games and Connect Four. He beat me every single round and teased, “What’s it like being beat by a yard boy?”

From that very first night, we were inseparable. What started as a simple message quickly turned into spending nearly every day together — building a relationship rooted in friendship, laughter, and so much love.
